I'm pretty environmentally conscious so I bought these over 3 years ago and never looked back. Menstrual cups weren't for me so then I went to these. I love them. I'm so relieved I'm not using pads that aren't biodegradable anyone and creating so much less waste every month. The only thing I'm going to say is I need to find a better way to clean them because I've been using bleach thinking it's mostly washed out by the small amount I use, but I guess peroxide is the way to go judging by other reviews. My one complaint is that they are a little long for me and sometimes slip around giving me a "diaper rash" towards the end of my cycle. But def recommend. The pic is of the small size and I placed a quarter next to it for scale.I've been a menstrual cup user for years but I was always iffy about reusable pads. After I had my son I got a Nexplanon implant which has caused me a lot of spotting (they say that will stop soon, hopefully they're right lol). I was tired of using the cup for such a light flow so I figured I'd give these a try. I wanted to get the smallest ones I could find since I mainly wanted to use them as panty liners. These are a little bigger than a disposable panty liner but the size is still small enough for what I wanted. I also love leopard print so that made me choose these as well. They did such an amazing job on my light flow days that I decided to try them out when my period came... and they did just as great on medium flow and even heavy flow days!!!! I found myself changing them out about as often as I would with a disposable pad, not even a big deal while out in public since I just stuck the dirty one in the bag and washed it when I got home. They're very soft in addition to being extremely absorbent. I wish I had tried them out sooner!!!! I highly recommend them to every one of you ladies out there, regardless of how heavy your flow is; though if it's like really crazy heavy or you're a plus size girl you might want to get a bigger size pad.Well this is my first time with the reusable sanitary napkins. Its just like back in the day when you only had reusable diapers and the company use to come and pick them up to clean them. Well the cleaning part is most def on your own. If you don't like blood the look or the smell this product is not for you. YOU will have to physical rinse/wash the blood from the napkin. I don't have a problem with it. Peroxide, soap and cold water is what I use to get the blood out then I let soak for 12-48 hours. I still see stains so I will wash them as well hopefully the stains will come out. Nothing too bad I just noticed them. I have been using two a day without feeling wet or like i have a diaper on. No leaking either and I am very heavy the first 2 days. I will invest in the smaller size for my light days. Now I am a grown 42 yr old woman the designs are a tad bit childish for me but its just 7 days so I will roll with it....Just received them today. The pattern side is like a nylon windbreaker material, not pleasant at all to touch. I haven't used them yet, but so far I am unconvinced that I even want them. Going to give them a try and update. Seriously ewww, at this point though.Update:So finally had a chance to use these. While many had the noisy nylon type material on one side, there were two with a polar fleece like material. The ones with the soft fleece are well worth it. The material that is noisy to the touch, remarkably are silent when put on. On all of the parts that touch your skin is a soft terry like material. I was concerned this was going to be abrasive but it isn't. The snap is plastic and works great but I worry about fatigue for long term use. I wish the label was made out of a different material it is irritating.Handwash and air dry takes about 24 hours depending on if you have a breeze. If you have to do these in the washing machine I suggest, on delicate, make sure that they are flat (as well as unsnapped) before putting them in. Make sure the temp on the machine is on cold. NO TUMBLE DRY, with the plastic, snaps they may melt. When they are clean they can be folded up and the snaps used to secure it so it is less bulky.Would I get these again? Totally not sure. Most likely not. I prefer the polar fleece or flannel kind. If there was a bundle with just those instead, then I would.I am usually a tampon person but I was going to have a surgery on my uterus so I would not be able to wear tampons I purchased these instead of buying classic thick disposable pads from the store. Traditional disposable pads are terrible I have very sensitive skin it would always end up with a rash or chafing marks. Also I hate the ideal I've literally throwing money in the garbage. So I gave these a try. Not only did I love how cute they were I loved the feel to the point where I use them for every cycle. They are very easy to wash just pre-soak in cold water with OxiClean. I keep a bucket near my toilet and toss the soiled pads in to soak. At the end of the day I tossed them in the washer and they come out spotless. I tell everybody I know about cloth pads. My only issue is that some of the silky Fabrics have a tendency to shimmy down when worn with loser fitting underwear. I would definitely say we're a very snug pair a panties with these pads.I can't say enough good things about these reusable maxi pads. I'm a 28 year old woman with uterine fibroids which cause me to have heavy periods. I used these in the first two days of my period which are my medium days and they performed BETTER than any regular store or name brand pad from a store. The best part was that I was unaware after a short while that I was even wearing them. What makes them superior in my opinion next to other reusable maci pads is that they don't slip and slide. The material used has a soft but textured feel and they definitely stayed in place. The design is pretty, the only thing I would change is the white interior of the pad. I prefer the dark interiors of my other pads. The feeling of the pad is very, VERY soft. My v*gin* was very pleased. I didn't feel wetness and there was very little odor. These are huge for me because regular pads don't always wick away moisture and smell quickly without becoming bulky or including a skin irritating fragrance.Overall, I definitely recommend this product hands down!
